Pathways to Teaching (P-TEACH)

The P-TEACH Program introduces St.Vrain high school students to a career as an educator by offering a variety of concurrent enrollment courses. Students can earn credit through UC Denver, as well as participate in a variety of enrichment activities such as field trips to the UC Denver School of Education and Human Development.  Opportunities for paid externship with the SVVSD Community Schools program are also available. Four Education Pathways are available through the program.

GROWING OUR OWN

Through P-TEACH, students enrolled in the program gain college credits for field experience with exposure to niche subjects such as special education, STEM, early childhood, and cultural awareness. Students also attend classes at the Innovation Center throughout the program and graduate from high school with 21 college credits under their belt from the University of Colorado Denver.
