Seniors-Only 2023 Session – St. Vrain Valley Schools

Overview

This specific session is for SENIORS ONLY that have failed certain core courses to give them another opportunity for success through the SVVSD eCredit Recovery Program. St. Vrain Valley School District offers this hybrid credit recovery program that allows students to recover credit by retaking only the concepts in which they were previously unsuccessful through a blended learning model.

Registration Dates & Fees:

Monday, December 6th – Tuesday, January 10th @ 8pm (or until sites fill)

$80/0.5 Credit

STUDENTS ON FREE AND REDUCED LUNCH PAY

$60/0.5 Credit

Because this session is so short, students should plan to take only ONE COURSE.

Courses offered – Seniors-Only 2023 eCredit Recovery session:

English 9A/B, English 10A/B, English 11 A/B, English 12 A/B
World Studies A/B, US History A/B, US Government A/B, Personal Financial Literacy
Algebra 1A/B, Geometry A/B, Algebra 2A/B, Int Algebra A/B

Locations and Schedules:

This session will begin on Tuesday, January 17th and only runs four weeks, ending on Friday, February 10th.
Specific times and whether meetings are online or in-person will be decided by teachers at locations. There will be at least two 1-hour meetings a week (in-person or via Webex) to support students synchronously (as a group) with plenty of opportunities for students to schedule 1:1 meetings with their teacher for specific, targeted help, student goal-setting, and reflection.
Specific details will be sent out to students and families by Friday, January 13th.

Required Parent/Guardian Orientation:

ONLINE Parent Orientation will be REQUIRED for ALL PARENTS that have a student enrolled in the Seniors-Only January 2023 eCredit Session. This orientation is a video and can be found here for English and aqui para espanol.

Once registration has ended, we will send out an email with all the information regarding this eCredit Session and a reminder about our Parent Orientation video.
