Advanced Global Interactive Learning Environments

AGILE brings together teachers and students from different schools, districts, and regions in an engaging digital learning environment.

Through AGILE:

  • Students have access to a robust catalog of courses through synchronous/asynchronous instruction.
  • Instructional time is maximized by minimizing travel time of students attending classes at other schools.
  • Content expert teachers serve as mentors and co-teachers to novice and new course teachers.

AGILE offers three telelearning approaches:

Remote

A school utilizes an open period to offer a selected course to students across the district. Remote students participate using AGILE equipped spaces in their home school.

Hybrid

A school utilizes open seats in a course to offer synchronous instruction across the district. Remote students use AGILE rooms in their home school.

Paired Mentor

A mentor teacher co-instructs a course with a novice teacher who teaches the same course in another school. Classes are held during the same period and are co-taught and co-planned by both teachers.
