2026 Staff Flu Shots and Biometrics Clinics

Benefits-eligible employees are invited to attend an on-site flu shot and biometrics clinic presented by KerixHealth. Take a proactive step toward your preventive wellness and learn more about your health.

Employees who participate in a biometrics screening will receive a $40 King Soopers gift card at the event!

Mammogram Events

In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, SVVSD will sponsor our annual NO-COST mammogram events for women age 40+ who are enrolled in the district’s UMR or Kaiser health plans – spouses included!

If you haven’t had your breast cancer screening in the last year, this event is the most fun way to check it off your list. Enjoy refreshments and a bag stuffed with goodies and gift cards.

Walktober 2026

Get ready to take advantage of autumn’s cool temperatures to step out to better health. The 2026 St. Vrain Valley Schools Walktober activity challenge will be open from October 1 – 31, 2026 for all staff!

  • September 14: Registration opens
  • October 1: First day to log activity
  • October 11: Registration deadline
  • October 31: Challenge ends

Our Mission

St. Vrain Valley School District values the health and well being of their employees. In an effort to improve the health of all SVVSD employees, increase productivity, decrease absenteeism, and have a healthier and happier workforce, the district established a Worksite Wellness Program in 2010.

The program’s mission is to establish a culture of health and wellness that encourages lifelong healthy behaviors and attitudes, fosters a healthy learning environment, promotes student achievement and benefits our employees and community through improved quality of life.

Primary Goals:

  • Encourage a Supportive Social and Physical Environment that Promotes a Culture of Healthy Lifestyles for All District Employees.
  • Provide a variety of wellness initiatives to educate employees about the importance of modifiable risk factors and to encourage healthy behavior change.
  • Raise Awareness and Engagement of wellness initiatives for optimal health.
  • Engage Leadership in Supporting, Role Modeling, and Communicating Wellness in the Workplace
