Benefits Open Enrollment: Nov 2-13

During Benefits Open Enrollment, you may log into iv.svvsd.org and make changes as needed to your district insurance plans for the period covering January 1, 2027 through June 30, 2027.

• This Open Enrollment is for a six-month coverage period, and Open Enrollment will be held again in the Spring of 2027 to make your elections for the new July – June plan year.
• Enrollment is not required this year if you are satisfied with your current elections. Except for the Flexible Spending Accounts, your current elections will automatically continue in 2027 if you do not make any changes during Open Enrollment.
• Premiums are published in the Open Enrollment Guide. There will be no changes to employee premiums on medical, dental, or vision for the January – June coverage period. However, life insurance and disability premiums may increase if your age has reached a higher cost tier.
• There are no new plans or changes to plans for the six-month coverage period.

2027 Benefits Year Change

In 2027, St. Vrain Valley Schools will permanently change its benefits plan year from a January-December cycle to a July-June cycle, aligning our benefits year with the academic calendar.

As a result of this change to our plan year cycle, the elections you make this November will cover just the first six months of 2027 — January 1 through June 30. The same benefit plans will be available with no increases to premiums for the six-month period. We will then hold Open Enrollment again in the spring so you can make your elections for the new July-June plan year.

Open Enrollment will be held in the spring of each year going forward, and will no longer be offered in the fall.
