Enjoy yoga from the comfort of your own home or space. Back by popular request, Christine from Mile High Fitness and Wellness will be instructing virtual yoga classes on Thursdays for 6 weeks!
Bloom! Spring Step Challenge
April 6 – May 3
Get ready for our St Vrain staff springtime step challenge with Bloom. This 4 week journey to better health combines fitness and nature in a kaleidoscope of color and social camaraderie.
Record steps or minutes
Use your favorite tracking device or record exercise minutes and Bloom converts them to steps for you.
Aim for 6000, 8000, or 10,000 steps a day
Fill your Bloom branch with white (6000), yellow (8000), and pink (10,000) blossoms.
Get social
Invite friends, join a team, and connect with colleagues on the Community page.
Important dates:
- March 23: Registration opens
- April 6: First day to log activity

Investment Basics
April 8 – 4:30 – 5:30pm via Zoom. Hosted by ENT Credit Union
Investing money doesn’t have to be complicated. In this class, we will break down the basics from understanding the power of a dollar and the value of compound interest to the various investment types and different methods to investing.

The district is partnering with UCHealth Longs Peak Medical Center for Mochas and Mammos – a delightful event just for SVVSD employees and spouses who are enrolled in the district’s UMR health plans. If you haven’t gotten your mammogram in the past year and are age 40 or older, join us April 18 for a fun event! Enjoy refreshments and grab a swag bag stuffed with goodies – some lucky participants will receive a $50 Mastercard gift card tucked inside.

Kaiser Permanente is offering special mammography access at our Longmont Medical Office Building just for St. Vrain Valley School District employees who are Kaiser Permanente members. Note for registration: This unique registration is HIPAA compliant and private. Members will need to set up a new username and password to schedule their appointment (their kp.org username and password will not work in this registration system).

Art Therapy: Rock Painting
Tuesday, April 28 – 4:30 – 5:30pm. 395 S Pratt Pkwy, Longmont – ESC Boardroom
In this creative and reflective workshop, participants will paint small rocks with uplifting words, affirmations, or colorful designs, transforming simple stones into tokens of hope and encouragement. This class is designed to foster mindfulness, self-expression, and connection—both with oneself and the community. No prior art experience is needed; just bring an open heart and a willingness to explore creativity as a form of healing. Participants are encouraged to leave their finished rocks in public spaces to brighten someone’s day or keep them as personal reminders of inner strength and kindness. Come ready to create, connect, and spread a little kindness —one rock at a time.
