Summer School, Camps & Enrichment

Thank you for continued partnership and support as we navigate the coronavirus health crisis and necessary steps to keep our community safe. We will continue to look for opportunities to engage students over the summer to support their continued well-being and academic growth. 

Summer Meal Distribution

June 1-30, Monday-Thursday

Summer meal distribution will continue as it has in years past with additional social distancing measures in place to ensure public safety. Drive-through meal distribution will provide breakfast and lunch Monday-Thursday from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Double meals will be handed out on Thursdays.

Innovation Center SuperStem Camps

Online SuperSTEM Camps offer innovative, hands- on learning experiences that engage and challenge students and incorporate human-centered design thinking. Camps are taught primarily by student designers and teachers from St. Vrain’s Innovation Center, and offer a wide-range of fun STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) activities for ages 9-17. These fun, low-cost camps are taught completely online with one hour of instructor interaction each day. iPads are available if needed.

Innovation Academy

Innovation Academy is a summer opportunity for students and families to engage in design thinking and innovation at home with support from St. Vrain educators and IBM volunteers.
For 10 years, Innovation Academy has empowered students to solve real-world problems while helping them build a foundation of critical thinking through inquiry-based learning. This summer’s Innovation Academy will be offered in a virtual environment and open to all students completing grades K-5. Features include:
  • Empowering lessons
  • Real-time home-learning connections
  • Flexible learning engagement timelines to accommodate family schedules
  • Prorated cost for free/reduced lunch qualifications
  • An opportunity to purchase multiple age-appropriate themes at a 20% discount
  • Use of readily-available materials at home
  • Access to an iPad


Based off traditional half-day two-week summer camps, each theme features “6 Simple Machines” curriculum and five available design challenges. Themes for K-2 students are Schools and Transportation, and for grades 3-5, themes are Energy and Media/Communications

Innovation Center Summer Classes 

Grades: High School (9th - 12th) 

The Innovation Center is offering four online classes over the summer to interested students, including Design Fundamentals,  CompTIA Fundamentals, Cybersecurity, and an Apple Certification course.

eCredit Recovery (High School)

eCredit Recovery will continue for high school students, mostly through a virtual environment with the potential for small groups of students to receive face-to-face support while maintaining recommended social distancing measures. If your student is a behind on high school credits, your school will contact you with information about enrollment.

Extended School Year (Special Education)

St. Vrain will be providing virtual instruction for students who qualify for Extended School Year (ESY) through their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). If your student qualifies, a member of the special education team will contact you with more information.

Algebra 1 Project Launch Summer Program (Incoming 9th Graders)

The Algebra 1 Summer Program will be rescheduled for August. Information will be shared later this summer for incoming 9th grade students who qualify.
