Summer School, Camps & Enrichment

St.Vrain Valley Schools offers a variety of summer programs for all ages, including: summer school for high school students; STEM enrichment camps for middle and elementary school students and, elementary camps and enrichment programs offered through the Community Schools programSome of the programs listed below may be full, please contact the school or program directly with inquiries. Be sure to check your local school site for additional programs that might be available.


Summer Literacy Program

2018 Reading Intervention Camps for Elementary Students

Reading Intervention camps will be held at four locations for Summer 2018.
Camp dates: June 4 - 28, Monday thru Thursday
Times: 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

STEM Camps will be held at six locations for Summer 2018.
Camp dates: June 4 - 28, Monday thru Thursday
Times: 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Community School Programs

2018 Summer Camps for Students in Elementary and Middle School

The purpose of the Community Schools Summer Camp program is to provide opportunities to enrich the lives of children in safe and welcoming environments while supporting them to realize their highest potential. The child care staff offer extended, enrichment and recreation activities to support a well-rounded experience.

Camp dates: May 30 thru August 2 (Closed July 4), Monday thru Friday 
Times: 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (hours may vary by site)
Cost: $42 per day per child

Teacher and Staff Profesional Development

  • Tech Camp: This annual district program brings together hundreds of teachers for two full days of collaboration, tech professional development and keynote speakers. This year it will run from June 4-5, check out the full program schedule here: https://techcamp2018.sched.com.
  • Apple Coding:  On June 6-7, Apple is hosting and providing at no cost a two day 'Everyone Can Code' workshop for up to 20 teachers in grades K-8.
