Forty-two students at Longmont High School scored in the top 10% nationwide on rigorous exams testing their business knowledge. The exams are part of the school’s High School of Business program, a national accelerated business administration program of MBA Research & Curriculum Center. More than 7,000 students across the country participated in the program during the 2025-26 school year.
Students in Longmont High’s High School of Business program complete real, hands-on business projects through a series of six courses. The program also offers internships and opportunities to earn college credits.
As members of Colorado’s largest Future Business Leaders of America chapter, students participate in academic competitions and leadership development opportunities. The Trojan Podcast Network and a sports marketing course provide additional ways to explore media production, corporate partnerships, social media marketing, and event management.
These experiences prepare students for college business administration programs and careers in business while providing a foundation for those interested in starting a business of their own.
