Silver Creek High School Drama students will take on an ambitious theatrical challenge Aug. 29 by casting, rehearsing and performing the full-length musical Mamma Mia in just 48 hours.
The 48-Hour Musical will serve as the opening production of Silver Creek’s 2026-27 performing arts season. Students will have two days to prepare the production, providing a unique opportunity to develop their skills in collaboration, performance and production under a tight deadline.
The performance will also launch a fundraising campaign for the Silver Creek theatre program. A local organization has contributed $5,000 to begin the campaign, and the Silver Creek community is being invited to match or exceed that contribution. Funds raised will help provide resources and support for the theatre program throughout the school year.
Admission to the performance is free, with donations accepted before and during the event. If you would like to make a donation, you can do so by following this link.
The performance will begin at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 29 at Silver Creek High School. Doors open at 6 p.m.
