A new chapter for athletics and activities is beginning at Skyline and Silver Creek high schools this school year with the opening of new on-campus stadiums.
The new facilities will allow both schools to host more home football games and other athletic and activity events on their own campuses, creating new opportunities for students, families, alumni, and community members to come together and support their schools.
The new stadiums include bleachers and press boxes, restrooms and support spaces, scoreboards, improved accessibility, new tracks, and additional site improvements to support athletics and school events.
Skyline High School will celebrate the opening of its new stadium with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Aug. 28, followed by the Falcons’ first home football game of the season. Silver Creek High School’s stadium is also nearing completion, with details about its opening celebration coming soon.
