St. Vrain Valley Schools has been recognized by Forbes Magazine as one of America’s Best-in-State Employers, ranking as the highest-rated K-12 school district in Colorado. The honor reflects St. Vrain’s commitment to fostering a workplace where educators and staff can thrive while advancing the district’s mission of delivering an exceptional education to approximately 33,000 students.

Now in its seventh year, the Best-in-State Employers list is based on a survey of more than 160,000 employees nationwide. The list highlights organizations that excel at supporting their workforce and cultivating environments where employees feel valued. In Colorado, only 60 organizations were named to the list, including 11 in education, with St. Vrain Valley Schools earning the top spot among school districts.

With the highest base pay for teachers in the state at $64,500, St. Vrain Valley prioritizes investing in employees and continues to attract and retain outstanding educators and staff who champion student success.

“This recognition from Forbes is a reflection of the incredible educators and staff who give their very best each day to support our students and community,” said Dr. Jackie Kapushion, Superintendent of St. Vrain Valley Schools. “We are grateful to have such talented and dedicated professionals in St. Vrain, and we remain committed to investing in their success so they can continue advancing extraordinary opportunities for every child.”
