Community Schools Childcare During COVID-19

Starting January 2020, Community Schools will continue offering care options as elementary students return to classroom instruction Monday through Thursday. This will include all day on Fridays.

Registration Information for Parents
  • Before-School Care, After-School Care, Friday All Day Care is being offered to all elementary school students.  
    • The cost for this care is $7 per session Monday through Thursday and $30 for Full Day Care on Fridays
  • The hours of operation at each site will be:
    • Monday through Thursday 
      • AM Session – 7am to First Morning Bell 
      • PM Session – Ending Bell to 6pm
    • Friday – 7am to 6pm
    • Students currently enrolled in Full Day Childcare or K-5 Care do not need to re enroll.  Contact your program manager with your student’s schedule
  • New to childcare, visit stvrain.revtrak.net to register.
    • Registration fees will be waived for new K-5 care students January through May
      • Register for K-5 Care if your student is enrolled in Kindergarten through 5th Grade
      • Register for Pre-K Care if your student is enrolled in Preschool
  • Step 1: Scroll through to your school of attendance to review your options.
    • Students at Timberline, Columbine, Rocky Mountain, Indian Peaks and Northridge will be offered care at alternate schools as follows:
      • Students will be dropped off at the following sites and bussed to their home school:
        • Timberline students will go to Alpine
        • Columbine students will go to Central
        • Rocky Mountain students will go to Fall River
        • Indian Peaks students will go to Burlington
        • Northridge students will go to Mountain View
  • Step 2: This is the step when families pick their child’s attendance dates per month.  All students will be required to be on a monthly schedule.  Drop-In care is not being offered during this time. Care is not being offered to 6th graders this year.

Site program managers can assist parents with registration questions.  Parents can also contact the Community Schools main office at 303-702-7924.
